Overview:
City Runner is a concept-driven brand built around a neon-dystopian universe where classic '60s and '70s cars are reborn for a futuristic world. I developed the full brand identity, character designs, and merchandise system — creating a rich, story-driven visual experience across apparel, posters, and branded materials.

Objective:
Bring the City Runner universe to life through bold, cohesive visuals that capture the fusion of retro nostalgia and futuristic grit — optimized for merchandise, storytelling, and brand world-building.
Role:
Creative Lead — directed brand development, character and vehicle design, merchandise creation, and storytelling visuals across multiple touchpoints.
Lead Poster
"Neo-Detroit. 2060. A city run by corporations, fought for by the forgotten."
City Runner is a personal worldbuilding and design project set in a gritty, cyberpunk-inspired universe where retro-tuned muscle cars roar through neon-lit cityscapes.
Set in the year 2060, the world of City Runner merges analog nostalgia with futuristic tech—featuring a cast of rebels, bounty hunters, and corporate agents locked in a battle for control over Neo Detroit. At the heart of the story is Ciris, a skilled runner caught between survival, loyalty, and love in a city that’s constantly watching.
Companion Merchandise
"The revolution leaves its mark — stitched on jackets, stamped on walls, burned into chrome."
Tracks of the Rebel
The heartbeat of the resistance.
Analog, distorted, defiant. This is the unofficial anthem of rogue runners and street crews who live fast, break code, and never bow. Full of screeching synths, DIY samples, and emotional grit, it’s music made for burning rubber and breaking free.
Corpo Sync Protocol
The silent weapon of compliance.
Disguised as ambient cyber-soul, Corpo Sync Protocol is the auditory leash of the corporations—soft, elegant, and engineered for mental suppression. It syncs with biometric implants, subtly regulating behavior, emotion, and loyalty.
Character posters
"When the law falls silent, the racers speak."
This project explores character-driven storytelling through a mix of visual design, poster art, branded merchandise, and narrative exploration. Every element—from character posters to car mockups and corrupted corp files—is crafted to feel like it belongs in this alternate timeline. Inspired by a blend of classic sci-fi, modern anime, and muscle car culture, City Runner is both a narrative concept and a visual sandbox, allowing for experimentation in design, atmosphere, and brand-world immersion.
CIris Visual change
"No backup. No promises. Just speed, steel, and survival."
In Brothers to the End, Ciris stood shoulder-to-shoulder with his crew, especially CJ, his brother in all but blood. They burned through Neo Detroit together, bound by loyalty, rebellion, and the rumble of their engines. But that was before everything fractured.
Now, in The Street Hero, Ciris rides alone. CJ is gone—lost to the system, the streets, or something darker. The city hasn’t changed, but Ciris has. The look in his eyes says it all: fewer words, more weight. He’s no longer the runner following someone’s lead—he’s the one carving the path. No crew. No backup. Just the streets, his Mustang, and the fire to finish what they started.
He didn’t ask to be the hero. The city gave him no choice.
"City Runner — where rebellion runs on gasoline and neon."
